The importance of ethical guidelines.
Ethical guidelines are an essential part of a psychotherapist’s training. They ensure that the necessary boundaries are maintained between therapist and client and provide certainty that your therapist has the skills and training to work with you.
Before you book a session Conor provides a 10 to 15 minute phone consultation where clients can ask any questions they may have and discuss their therapeutic needs.
Conor is accredited with the Irish Association for Humanistic and Integrative Psychotherapy (IAHIP) and a registered member of the Irish Council for Psychotherapy (ICP).
All psychotherapists who are accredited with IAHIP and who are members of ICP are required to attend regular professional supervision to review their client case work and receive support and advice.
